Supporting Stability and Change in our Community!

Circles of the Heartland is an initiative that takes a transformational approach to poverty by assisting families and individuals in moving forward.  

This initiative partners volunteers and community leaders with families' wanting to make the journey out of poverty.  The participant, called Circle Leaders, are in charge of setting their own goals and direction out of poverty.  Many times, these goals include education and finding employment that pays a living wage.

Circle Leaders are also matched with two to three volunteers who befriend them and encourage and support them through the process.  Volunteers, or Allies, make an eighteen month commitment to work with their Circle Leader!
